Click Here to Book Your Mothers Day Weekend!
How do you plan to pamper Mom this Mother’s Day? Remember when you were a kid and you promised her you’d buy her a new car or a house? We bet she’d much rather have ‘time together ‘ with the family, creating memories, challenging the rapids as a paddle crew, having meals together (that she doesn’t have to cook) and gazing at the stars until she falls asleep warmed by a crackling fire.
This Mother’s Day, choose any MRA adventure we offer, including camping, during Mother’s Day weekend (May 11-13, 2018) and save 30% off Mom’s adventure weekend! Yes, Mom must be on the raft to qualify for this special offer, and you, her adoring child or spouse should be there too! A Mother’s Day photo is included with this special! And while at our check-in center, Mom can shop our collection of Kern River souvenirs, also available at a special rate of 30% off during Mother’s Day weekend! Mom’s just want to be pampered, and we’ve got plans for your Mom!
1) Mom gets to chose from a very limited color selection of finely constructed, grab the butter to get it on, tighter than heck catsuits (wink, wink). On the Kern, we call them wetsuits!
Wetsuits come in a very limited supply of fashion forward colors, like granite boulder black or deep river blue. Mom’s choice!
2) We won’t make Mom carry the boat, but she will have to carry her own paddle, and use it! Paddles may or may not match wetsuit ensemble. No guarantees.
3) Our guides will hold Mom’s hand if she needs it, while walking to and entering the raft.
4) If Mom wants to “ride the bull”, hey, it’s Mother’s Day. Why not? No hand holding here.
Grab the Mom in your life, pick an adventure and call us to reserve @ (800) 861-6553! Let’s make some memories together. Be sure to ask for special offer code MOM30.

Do you ever keep the kids Spring & Summer break schedules jammed packed with fun, learning experiences, hoping they won’t be inclined to hang out on Snap or Insta?
What if you can provide meaningful getaway moments (that are totally Snap and Insta worthy) all while spending time together as a family, in the outdoors? How often do we fully unplug, together, to stop and smell the pines, take in majestic mountain views, or relax around a campfire gazing at the vast beyond, in the still, darkness?
It’s okay if you don’t already know how to tie a specialty knot, hold a raft paddle correctly, or even know how to adroitly step into a whitewater raft correctly. Our professionally trained, safety conscious river guides are there to help you through each step of the experience. Did we mention that all overnight and full day trips include delicious meals? We practically do everything for you! Why aren’t you here already?
“Four city boys looking for a little nature and adventure. We rented a campsite for Friday and Saturday nights and did the full-day, lower Kern rafting adventure (class 3-4). Our guides, Brett and Harry were fun and very nice (driver, Chris was helpful and cheery). They made us feel comfortable and confident, never condescending to us (this is a tough needle to thread). Equipment was it great condition, photography provided, full spread lunch…a total pro setup. Our campsite was comfortable and the campgrounds were boisterous. Book in advance for peak season weekends! Cap it all off with a meteor shower beyond belief and you’ve got a weekend you’ll never forget.” Michael C., Redondo Beach, CA
Class III School: March 28-31, 2018, $300 and
