We'll guide and instruct you as you maneuver your own one or two person inflatable kayak down Class I, II and III white water. It's a wet and wild ride that's soaked with fun and adventure. Inflatable kayaks allow you to be right on top of the water to experience 'catching an eddy' or surfing the holes.  Don't know how---no worries we'll teach you how it's done.  Age 9 and up.

(Approx. 3-4 hr.)

Wetsuits are required for spring paddling, so please bring your own, borrow one or let us know that you would like to rent one of ours.

For high-energy thrill-seekers, combine a Double Blitz raft trip and a Double Blitz maniyak trip for a full day of white water adventure! If you're up to the test, we'll send you through Class I, II and III rapids several times in two different crafts. This package is drenched with fun and high-energy adventure! Deli style lunch is included.  During high water times, we reserve the right to have all paddlers stay in the larger rafts.

Grab a group of your kayaking buddies, your boats, and head for the Kern - we do all the rest.  We will support your 1, 2, 3, or 4 day kayaking adventures on Class III, IV & V runs.  We’ll handle shuttles, logistics, kayak guides/instructor (if requested), and support oar boat with all the camp and safety gear along with tasty amenities of your choice (and our tried and true suggestions).  Combine your trip at our campground, play on the climbing wall, enjoy great meals…Call us and we will put it all together with you.

RIVER KAYAKING
Whether you are an experienced paddling enthusiast or a first-timer on the river, we offer a wide range of whitewater kayaking adventures. Take a seat in one of our nimble kayaks and prepare to get wet! You won't feel like a fish out of water as we teach you all the basic moves.

1 DAY RIVER KAYAKING CLASS
A nice easy start - thank you very much!  Instruction begins in our high performance, inflatable kayaks and when appropriate, we transition to hard shell kayaks. We'll start you with the basics, teaching paddle stroke, ferry angles, bracing, eddie peels, Eskimo rolls, and basic water hydrology. These moves and techniques will allow you to feel comfortable and in control of your kayak. These skills will be used while maneuvering through Class II and III rapids. Ages 12 and over. Lunch, kayak and equipment included. $180.25

2 DAY RIVER KAYAKING CLASS
An expanded, more in-depth program than our one day class. If you're serious about learning this sport, by the end of these two days you will be a confident kayaker with the skills to handle Class II and III rapids. $303.85

LAKE KAYAKING
Try our more leisurely lake kayaking tours on beautiful Lake Isabella.This is a safe, fun, nature-oriented paddling experience geared for all. With your guide leading the way and the Sequoia National Forest as a backdrop, you will glide your way across the tranquil lake and through the scenic South Fork Bird Sanctuary.

LAKE ISABELLA KAYAK ECO TOURS
An excellent choice for families, first timers, or kayakers who aren't out to tame the river. You will learn the ins and outs of touring kayaks surrounded by beautiful mountains and breathtaking scenery as you cruise along the shores of Lake Isabella. The South Fork Bird Preserve is located nearby and provides numerous opportunities for bird watching and wildlife photography. Minumum group size is 4.
